IUA General Liability Questionnaire - US Exposures Supplement 2024

The IUA’s Casualty Treaty Group designed a new model General Liability Questionnaire relating to US exposures. It provides reinsurers with a template that can be embedded into a bordereau. The information provided through this limited data request allows reinsurers to gain a better understanding of US exposure within international casualty risks. It represents a more consistent approach to requesting information regarding these exposures from cedants. Use of the Questionnaire is not mandated in any way. The additional fields included within the Questionnaire are to be completed only for:

  • Multinational or International risks, or risks where the original insured is based outside of the US, but with US exposure
  • Open Market risks
  • Casualty risks (Non-Financial Lines)
