In this IUA policy wordings masterclass, our expert wordings practitioners will explain how to draft and interpret key insurance contract provisions relating to claims and losses.

This event is aimed predominantly at junior practitioners and will benefit underwriting, claims, broking and service provider representatives.

With reference to real wordings examples addressing key concepts, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussion and ask questions about topics including:

• Insured parties
• Joint insured v composite insured
• Claims notification
• Measure of indemnity
• Subrogation and assignment
• Law and jurisdiction

Natasha Oates is an experienced wordings practitioner across all lines of business and has also worked for the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Rachel Evans is the head of product development for London financial lines at Allianz Commercial

Michael Allan leads the wordings team at Convex Insurance

Christopher Crane is an insurance and reinsurance lawyer, specialising in complex claims and disputes.
